Piper

Piper is a local neural text-to-speech engine from the Open Home Foundation voice team. It provides command-line, HTTP, Python, and C/C++ interfaces, runs on general hardware including Raspberry Pi 4-class devices, and targets developers, self-hosters, accessibility tools, and voice projects that want speech synthesis without a mandatory vendor cloud. Training tooling for new voices is included, while licenses for individual downloadable voice models can vary.
