OpenSearch is a community-driven, Apache 2.0-licensed search and analytics suite that includes the OpenSearch engine and OpenSearch Dashboards. It is designed for full-text search, observability and log analytics, security analytics, and vector/AI retrieval workloads. The platform is production-ready and can be deployed on self-managed infrastructure using Docker, packages, and other installation methods.
